I was fortunate enough to take two trips this summer…and they just happened to occur within a couple of weeks of each other. My husband and I went on our 4th cruise together and then I ventured out to Las Vegas by myself for Uncon3. This was the first time in quite a while that I have traveled by myself…and definitely the first since I have been married.
Tim and I got up super early Thursday, August 7 to get to the St. Louis airport in time for my flight that was to leave around 8:00am. There were storms in the area but we were hopeful that they wouldn’t be severe enough to delay my trip. Either way, I built in quite a bit of extra time to my itinerary and my flight was pretty much direct (only one stop where we added passengers). Well, it was a good thing I had that extra time because the flight before mine couldn’t land because of the storms and then had to divert to Columbia to refuel…setting our trip back about 2 hours. That gave me a little time to look over the Christmas musical that my students and I would begin working on in the coming weeks.
Thankfully I still arrived in Las Vegas with plenty of time to get registered for the convention and get checked in to my room at the Encore. I had a message from my upline, Trisha Lewis, that I needed to get back downstairs for a special sneak peak at a new product that I would get to help demo. It turns out that it was the “Posh to Meet You” set. I fell in love! I’ll feature the Posh to Meet You set in an upcoming post. But for now, here it is:
Friday was BOLD day where there were a lot of break-out sessions. I helped Trisha in her Social Media training session and we had our VIP luncheon where we received our new products! These are just some of the items I brought home:
I even got to experience my first limo ride ever!
Saturday brought more breakout sessions and ended with Sparkle Night. We rocked out with the band We Are the Strike and celebrated a lot of people earning awards. Here’s a picture of me with Perfectly Posh’s Ann Dalton and Andrew McBride:
