Introducing Operation Big Posh Love
I want to share a special project that I am working on for children undergoing cancer treatments and how you can help.
The three and a half weeks that I spent in ICU last year due to endometriosis and complications post op isn’t near the amount of time that cancer patients spend. When you are hospitalized or going through extensive treatments, you experience SO many emotions and I can only imagine how magnified it is for children and teens who are battling such diseases.
I want to tell you about my friend Trisha and her daughter Savannah. Savannah began having pain and was given a diagnosis of juvenile arthritis earlier this year. However, in September she was officially diagnosed with Ewings Sarcoma – a very rare type of bone cancer. Savannah was ultimately admitted to Texas Children’s Hospital where she benefited from the Big Love Trolly. The Big Love Trolly makes rounds on the oncology floor and children are able to select items from the cart. Savannah’s family found that there weren’t a lot of options for teenagers and decided to do something about it. Trisha and several other Posh sisters began collecting donations of Posh products for the trolly and it has become a hit!
Trisha has encouraged me to follow her lead and donate packs filled with products that are good for these patients skin to a children’s hospital near me. I have chosen to work with St Louis Children’s Hospital as they have a need for soaps, lotions, skin sticks and other pampering products for teenagers.
You Can Donate
I have a party open will run until December 16. Visit my shopping site here and select “Operation Big Posh Love” at checkout. You are welcome to go there to place your order and have the items shipped to me – choose “ship to hostess” when you check out. If you are unable to decide I can help out with suggestions or you can make a donation and I will order for you. This way I can also take advantage of the Buy Five Get The 6th Free by bundling multiple people’s donations to give more. All of the Perks that are earned from this party will be used to purchase additional products for donation. My commission will be used to purchase the bags to put the products in and for other items needed to make this project a success. I would like to be able to drop the goodies off at St Louis Children’s Hospital at the end of the month.
If you have any questions or would like more information send me a message on Facebook at Show Me Posh. Let’s show these kids some Big Posh Love!
