This past December I celebrated my 3rd Poshiversary with Perfectly Posh. A Poshiversary is the anniversary of the day a consultant joins. So I thought now would be a great time to share my “why.” It can be a little lengthy…so I’ll give you a convinced version.
Extra Income & Something To Keep Me Busy
I attended another direct sales company’s party in the Fall of 2013. I didn’t see that company as a fit for me but liked the idea of having a side business to bring in a little extra income because – at the time – we were trying to start a family. Tim has several late evenings each month and I figured I could use those evenings to work my business.
Let The Research Begin
Sooo…I began researching different companies and I came across Perfectly Posh. I liked the packaging and the idea behind the company. Next, I set out to find a leader who would be the perfect fit for me. Since there were just over 5,000 consultants with Perfectly Posh, I didn’t mind that the leader wasn’t close by. I found one who sent me samples right away but in the meantime I placed my first order – The Caffeinator Stick and Under Wonder Pore Primer. My samples arrived before my order…and I signed up as a consultant (December 14, 2013) before my first order arrived. The products won me over! I can remember the first time I tried Complexion Perfection – the exfoliation and cool/awakening feeling of peppermint!
The experience I had with Posh that very first time isn’t much different from the experience that most of my customers have had. FUN, quality products with natural ingredients at an affordable price. Whether it’s experiencing one of our lip scrubs for the first time or switching over from a SLS-loaded body wash to one of our Chunk bars, the Posh experience allows customers to experience pampering regardless of how busy they are.
I’ve always been a quiet person. I open up best when I teach – elementary students. Perfectly Posh has helped me to come out of my shell a bit. And, while I understood that I would need to build a team in order to be successful with Perfectly Posh, I didn’t realize just how much my team – my tribe – would mean to me. I don’t just mean the team of people I have recruited (Team Show Me Posh) but my upline, Posh It Out sisters, and other consultants from the company. Perfectly Posh products give my customers (and me) “me time” but the business lets me collaborate – virtually and through traveling to events – with likeminded, successful, creative business owners.
